The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Tester with expertise in mobile testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, particularly in manual testing procedures, and extensive experience in testing mobile applications across various platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products before they are released to our customers.

• Test Planning: Collaborate with project managers and development teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases for both new and existing features.
• Manual Testing: Execute test cases manually to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues across mobile applications, ensuring that they meet quality standards.
• Mobile Testing: Conduct thorough testing on various mobile devices (iOS and Android) to ensure compatibility, functionality, and performance across different screen sizes, resolutions, and operating systems.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates, ensuring that new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Bug Reporting: Document and report bugs, errors, and other issues encountered during testing using appropriate bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining and improving the overall quality assurance processes and procedures, including reviewing and providing feedback on software design and requirements documents.
• Communication: Clearly communicate test results, progress updates, and any potential risks or roadblocks to project stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and other team members.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to software testing and mobile development, and incorporate them into testing processes where applicable.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 
• 3 - 4 yrs of experience in web automation testing
• Proven experience in Web Automation, with a focus on testing selenium, Java with TestNG.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Exposure with mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
